Industry

Metalworking and machinery

Digital and energy transition, connected machinery and export growth: three fronts to coordinate, with support instruments assessed project by project.

Twin transition managed as a single integrated project.

A CNC milling machine cuts a steel part under a jet of coolant that splashes around the tool.

In metalworking, digital and energy projects meet on the same machines. Interconnection, energy efficiency and CNC performance can involve different support measures, with different rules, deadlines and documents. Handling them separately can leave a business buying machinery first, looking for support later and discovering that the interconnection was never documented.

The industrial project needs to come first, followed by the measures that can support it.

Constraints to address together

Custom and small-batch production. Unique parts and prototype batches do not generate the same data as repetitive production. ERP systems need to reflect the actual job workflow.

Evidence of interconnection. For supported investments, requirements for new assets, technical characteristics, interconnection and documents depend on the measure and period. Appraisals and certifications, when required, need to be planned with the investment.

Foreign customers. Developing markets without a local sales structure takes time, often longer than an investment in the plant.

Where we begin

With the plant and machining cycle: what is already connected, what needs integrating and which expenditure is useful now.

The investment sequence guides the choice of support measures. Export begins when production capacity can meet the expected foreign demand.

Our case studies cover stainless steel fabrication, custom machinery and industrial HVAC. They concern three different businesses that follow the same order of work.

Next step

Let’s talk about your next project.

A conversation, not a quote. We start from where you want to go, and see together which levers will get you there.
