Intervention area 01

Innovation, research and development

From product and process innovation to research and development: objectives, experiments, technical evidence and costs gathered in one coordinated project.

An innovation project starts with the problem the business wants to solve. MA.VI helps define objectives, priorities and a delivery path, coordinating documentation with technical work.

Research and development requires a specific assessment: an improvement or new product is not automatically an R&D project. Activities must be described and documented while they take place.

MA.VI’s role

The business and technical partners carry out development and experiments. MA.VI coordinates the project and its evidence, responsibilities and documentation.

  1. Product and process innovation

Define the problem, objectives and improvement path, distinguishing operational work from research activities.

    Funding instruments to assess

  2. Research and development projects

Structure hypotheses, experiments and iterations; whether activities qualify is assessed in the technical context of the project. Calls and programmes for research and innovation are assessed against the project.

  3. Technical dossier and traceability

Collect activities, tests, results and costs during the project, with coherent evidence for subsequent checks.
